Description
Figure depicting a scene from Greek mythology, Europe and Zeus who took the form of a bull. On a high base imitating a rock, the figure of a naked woman who was kidnapped by a beautiful bull, under which Zeus hid. At the bottom of the stand, in reserve, there is a painted ancient landscape with characteristic ruins of columns.
Porcelain signed “Vogt Wien”, probably made in the factory design school at the time when the factory had a royal warrant from the Austrian court in Vienna. At the bottom, the mark of the Amphora Made in Czecho-Slovakia factory, early 20th century.
Mass impressions number “1436” and “3”.
Object in very good condition.
