Description
A Meissen porcelain figural group of a pair of courtly lovers with attendant figure.
The gallant and his companion dancing before a rustic tree, a seated male accompanist playing his lute to one side, enamelled in pastel colours and with floral sprigged and striped part costumes, on oval naturalistic base, the base with underglaze blue crossed sword factory mark and with incised and impressed numbered marks “662” and “51X”.
Probably late 19th century.
Few leaves are missing.
