Description
A Louis Philippe style bookcase with a simple frame construction, closed with a pair of glazed doors, supported on four legs, the front carved, the back granular. The lower moulding is semicircular, the finial decorated with two profiled, bent, wide mouldings. The door leaves arched at the top, closed with a steel mortise lock with a key and two mother of pearl keys, with coffer boards at the bottom. Front corners rounded. Inside, five shelves mounted on a crest rail for free positioning.
Pine construction, veneered with rosewood, woodcarving, the second half of the 19th century.
