Description
A porcelain figurine of a shepherdess and a shepherd, placed on an oval base with large stones serving as a seat. The couple are dressed in exquisite, colourful costumes, with sandals tied with straps. Next to the woman is a fawning sheep, and next to the man is a basket of flowers. Flowers are also arranged on the lady’s dress and in the hands of the young master, who is trying to pin a flower in his beloved’s hair with his left hand. Signed on the bottom with a mark imitating the Meissen manufactory, probably Germany around 1900.
