Description
A porcelain figurine of a shepherdess and a shepherd, placed on an oval base with large stones serving as a seat. The couple are dressed in exquisite, colourful costumes, with sandals tied with straps. Next to the woman is a fawning sheep, and next to the man is a basket of flowers. Flowers are also arranged on the lady’s dress and in the hands of the young master, who is trying to pin a flower in his beloved’s hair with his left hand.
Signed from the dispute underglaze with cobalt in the shape of two intersecting swords.
The mark of the Meissen manufactory used in the years 1850-1924 and the numbers “A41” and the number “10” pressed in the mass in red.
