Description
Figurine of gardeners in love placed on a base similar in shape to an oval, with gilding and rocaille patterns. The lady with a jug in her right hand and a bouquet of flowers in the other, in a colorful outfit and with a hat on her head. A man adoring her, leaning against a tree trunk, also in a beautiful outfit, and at his feet a basket of fruit. Behind the couple’s backs, a boy in a hat, who watches the lovers.
Damage to the watering can and several flowers and leaves.
Signed from the dispute underglaze with cobalt in the shape of two intersecting swords.
The mark of the Meissen manufactory used in the years 1850-1924 and the number “42” pressed in the mass.
