Description
A chest of drawers in the style of Louis XVI, with a simple structure, two drawers, supported on four angular, converging and fluted legs. Table top with bevelled front corners decorated with inlays in the form of two fields with rhombuses made of different types of wood, surrounded by a double vein around the perimeter. The same decorations on the faces of the drawers and on the sides of the furniture. Brass dies on the faces of the drawers on the sides, and imitation keys in the center.
Pine construction, veneered with walnut, inlays, woodcarving, brass fittings, c. 1900.
