Platter with a glass insert

Description
A platter with a glass insert, a round, low base, and a handle permanently attached in two places. The circumference of the lower bowl is engraved with buttons and small leaves, the handle features flower petals on both sides, and the bow features a subtle pattern replicating the base. The thick, rosette-shaped crystal insert is polished on the underside, while the collar features a contoured, arched pattern. The glass insert shows no signs of damage, the bowl is lightly worn.
Silverplated, crystal glass, first half of the 20th century.
The upper part of the handle bears the dates 1824-1924, with the engraving “B.W.” below.
