Description
A Secretary desk, consisting of two parts, a base with three drawers, a compartment with a flap and a glass top. The whole is supported on four massive legs, carved at the front and angular at the back. The faces of the two upper drawers are decorated with carvings in the form of loosely hanging ribbons, with a laurel wreath and a brass key in the middle. Lower drawer with vertical grooves along the entire width of its face. Above the drawers there is a storage compartment closed with a hinged lid, mounted on steel hinges, which, when unfolded, is supported by retractable boards on both sides, inside there is a small drawer and two shelves on the sides. The front corners are beveled, flared outwards, with grooves like in the lower drawer.
Extension with two glazed doors, wavy at the top, with curved muntins with a flower in the middle. The strip between them is decorated with hanging flower cups. Inside, there are two shelves lined with fabric, as is the back of the furniture. Each lockable element has a steel, hand-forged, applied lock, and doweling was used to connect the wooden elements.
