Description
Louis Philippe style Secretaire with simple frame lines, three flat-fronted drawers at the bottom, a flap above and one drawer at the top with a fluted face. Under the flap three small drawers with pulls, and on the sides two storage compartments behind lockable doors. On top a double straight roof, rounded at the corners. Recessed steel locks with keys in the drawers and hatch, with bone signs on the outside. All supported on four straight legs which are an extension of the furniture structure.
Pine construction, veneered with walnut, carvings, late 19th century.
Good condition, veneer damage visible in the photos as well as traces of use and previous repairs.
