A Louis XVI style console table

Description
A Louis XVI style console table, with a straight top protruding beyond the outline of the furniture, placed on a grooved strip in the doorway. The whole is supported by four fluted, tapered legs, tied together in the shape of the letter H, with a vase in the middle. Under the tabletop at the front and on the sides, there are carved decorations in the form of loosely hanging plant garlands, mounted on gilded buttons. Gilding also on the applications on the legs in the form of flowers and leaves.
Coniferous wood construction, polychrome and gildings, early 20th century.
