Description
A Dutch Baroque style display cabinet, glazed on three sides at the top and closed with a pair of doors at the bottom, supported by four legs, the front ones in the form of flattened balls, the rear ones angular, being an extension of the furniture structure. The whole very richly inlaid with various types of wood of very high quality, depicting flowers, plant twigs and garlands. On the sides and doors of the lower part of the furniture there are inlays in the form of vases with bouquets of flowers. The top with a wavy finial and a wide, profiled strip. The whole is closed with a pair of doors with thin glazing bars, in the right wing there is a recessed, steel lock with a key, the same as at the bottom. Inside the top there are two wooden shelves lined with material, just like the back of the furniture. The base with one shelf inside, also covered with material together with the back.
Oak construction, veneered with walnut, inlays of various types of wood, woodcarving, brass fittings, mid-19th century.
