Description
Art Deco style figurine of a snake charmer. The figure of a half-naked woman standing on an oval pedestal, girded with a gold belt from which a dark blue fabric hangs loosely in front and back. Below, a gilded, coiled cobra with its head slightly raised, which the enchantress is trying to tame with the movements of her hands.
Hand painted and gilded porcelain, signed on the base with a Royal Dux triangle. Below stamped in the mass is the number 2977, the numeral 9 and a painted “15.” Next to it a stamp with the inscription “Made in Czechoslovakia.”
