Description
Table Jardiniere, wooden, with wavy design, supported on four brass legs in the form of flattened spheres. Front and back straight, sides strongly rounded, with handles in the shape of twigs with leaves for lifting. The whole is edged with two slats, at the pedestal and at the top. At the top there is an openwork gallery. Fronts and sides decorated with walnut veneer placed in rectangular reserves, edged with double wood veining.
Mahogany construction, veneered with rosewood and walnut, brass handles and moldings with remnants of gilding, c. 1900.
Tin insert with handles most likely later.
Object in very good state of preservation.
