Mantel Clock with wider base engraved with floral threads, supported on four legs, accented with acanthus leaves and flowers. Above, the figure of a woman with a hat on her head, dressed in a sumptuous gown and holding a bouquet of flowers in her left hand, her other hand resting on the trunk of a tree below which is a basket of apples.
The dial is enameled, white, with blackened Roman numerals and blackened hands. On the dial inscription Shatillon Guyerdet. Pendulum suspended on a thread, key included.
Bronze gilt and patinated, partly polished, France, mid 19th century.
