Description
A transitional style Mirror with wide side mouldings arranged in a stepped pattern, decorated on the inside with delicate carved moulding. On the sides there are columns, partly cannelled, partly turned in a spiral, finished in the finial with larger carvings in the form of leaves, at the bottom with smaller leaves. At the top, above the veneered panel, a massive, wide moulding. At the back two steel handles with rope for hanging.
Pine construction, veneered wiht mahogany, carvings, mid 19th century.
The original glass panel, 102 x 51 cm.
