A Napoleon III style Sideboard

A Napoleon III style Sideboard, with a pair of doors and a steel lock, supported on four legs in the form of flattened spheres, with brass fittings. The structure of the furniture with wavy sides and straight front, with original marble top on the top. The door decorated with inlays made of many types of wood, depicting a quiver, a bow on the background of a floral bouquet tied with a ribbon. All this placed in reserve and edged with brass moulding. There are also similar decorative strips on the other elements of the shelf, and on the front corners there are capitals and openwork appliqués on the bottom and top boards. The sides are inlaid with rhombuses made of two types of wood, separated by narrow transverse lines. Two shelves inside.
Mahogany construction, marquetry of various types of wood, brass strips and fittings, marble top, late 19thC.
