Description

A cache-pot cover with stand, round, cylindrical, with a separated rim around the bottom and a flange with gilding on the edge. The top is slightly concave, painted in gold. On the sides, two small relief handles in the form of mascarons. On the front and the back with hand-painted depictions of Kronborg Slot and Borsen.
Hand painted porcelain, signed on the underside with eagle and CT, late 19th century.
Kronborg Slot – a castle located in a Danish city of Helsingør, on the Sund strait separating Denmark from Sweden.
Borsen – also known as Børsbygningen, is a 17th-century stock exchange in central Copenhagen. The historic building is located next to Christiansborg Palace, the seat of the Danish Parliament on Slotsholmen Island.
C.T. Altwasser – a Silesian porcelain factory owned by Carl Tielsch located in Stare Zdrój, today’s district of Wałbrzych. Production has been going on since 1845 till today.
