Description
Painted pedestal with a round base and a round place for another object on top. The pedestal’s shaft consists of two slender lyres, connected to each other in the middle by a wooden element. The surface of the shaft is polychrome and painted in the form of rhomboids and hearts alternating with each other. Painted flower cups in the corners, and large acanthus leaves on the edges.
Mahogany construction, polychrome, early 20th century.
