Miniature portrait of a woman in an oval field, enclosed in a rectangular reserve, all placed in a rich, wooden frame with leaf ornaments in each corner. The woman herself is a beautiful lady in a refined outfit. On the back there is a newspaper and a hanging bracket.
Gouache on ivory, initials to the right “R.F.”, late 19th Century.
