Miniature portrait of a woman in an oval field, enclosed in a rectangular reserve, all placed in a rich, wooden frame with leaf ornaments in each corner. The woman herself is a beautiful lady in elegant attire, holding a miniature in her hand. On the back there is a newspaper and a hanging bracket.
Gouache on ivory, initials on the left “B.K.”, late 19th Century.
