Description
A Louis XVI style chest of drawers with two drawers and an original marble top, supported by four bent legs. On the drawers’ faces, there are a pair of drawers and a key in the middle, a steel recessed lock inside, with a bronze openwork appliqué under them. The front corners are cut, decorated with bronze appliqués, as well as the front legs of the chest of drawers. Inlays on the drawers and on the sides, with diagonally arranged veneers of various types of wood. The top is slightly protruding beyond the outline of the furniture, with a delicate bevel at the top.
Beech construction, veneered with mahogany, inlays from various types of wood, brass fittings, marble top, mid-19th century.
