Description
A desk in the Dresden style with straight sides and a bent front, supported by four cabriole legs, decorated with brass, openwork applications. In the frame, five drawers with a bent face with a draw and key in the middle and a recessed, steel lock and key. The top is delicately rounded on the sides, and from the front it is a repetition of the outline of the drawers, slightly protruding beyond the outline of the furniture, with an inlaid star in the middle, with two wooden veins on the perimeter. Under the main top, a pull-out auxiliary top, lined with green cloth. Rounded front corners, decorated at the top with brass applications in the form of plant twigs. Pine construction, veneered with walnut, brass fittings, around 1900.
The furniture is in very good condition.
