Description
Victorian Armchair, with upholstered seat, backrest and sides forming one whole. Supported by four bent, carved legs finished with brass roller. Strongly profiled, concave backrest, with upholstery decorated with buttons arranged in rhombuses, with a carved upper strip in the form of flowers. Similar carved decorations on arched supports and legs, and the lower strip additionally decorated with densely arranged wooden buttons. The back of the furniture is also upholstered, which makes it easy to place anywhere in the room.
Pine-mahogany construction, carving, England, late 19th century.
Furniture in good condition, upholstery without abrasions.
