Description
Italian Renaissance style writing Table, with a bent skeleton line, with an oval-shaped top, supported on four legs. The table top is richly decorated with bone inlays in the form of two birds surrounded by flowers, leaves and grapes and a coat of arms in the center, all included in reserve with a bone line around the perimeter, and two narrow lines also on its sides. Bone decorations also on the slat under the table top, legs and joints at the legs. The edge of the table top with carvings in the form of floral patterns. A drawer is hidden under the top, which is opened with a hidden, small, brass bolt under its bottom. Turned, fluted, tapered legs, fastened with a solid double joint, finished with slender legs.
Oak construction, veneered with ebony and rosewood, bone inlay, carving, second half of the 19th century.
