Similar patterns are found on the top, along with an acanthus leaf scroll. Beneath the top is a drawer with two drawer pulls and a keyhole on the front, and a steel lock, similar to the one on the door. The front corners are fluted and decorated with wood veining. A wooden shelf is located inside the cabinet. Oak and mahogany construction, rosewood and mahogany veneers, inlays of various wood species, brass handles and keyholes, circa 1800.
