Description
A set of four Edwardian style Chairs, with an upholstered seat and a wooden backrest, the whole supported on four legs, front convergent, angular, ended with a spade, back bent. The backrest is slightly tilted back, profiled at the top, with eight boards decorated with bone and inlay in the form of plant twigs. Delicate bone veins also on the legs and front elements of the structure.
Mahogany massif, bone inlays, woodcarving, England c. 1900.
