Renaissance-type Mirror

Description
A Renaissance-type mirror with a richly carved, wavy frame. Around the perimeter of the frame, there is carving in the form of cupids, with a harp, a bow, a quiver and a flute. Two of them stretch a garland at the bottom. At the top there is a figure of a woman, next to her two doves, and all the figures surrounded by acanthus leaves and rocaille patterns. On the back there is a board and a steel hook for hanging.
Fruit wood construction, woodcarving, late 19th century.
Contemporary pane with dimensions: 48 x 59 cm.
