Description
A pair of Louis XVI style wall brackets, each with three arms extending from a single shaft. Bent arms, decorated with engraving in the form of acanthus leaves and flower cups, with engraved plates at the top and cups with rosettes extending from them, to which wooden thimbles with bulb holders inside are mounted. The stem is narrow and slender, tapered downwards, with carved applications at the top in the form of a vase and garlands hanging from it. The wall lamps are electrically functional.
Bronze and gilded bronze, chiseled, late 19th century.
Originally candle-powered, converted to electric.
