Description

A platter with a shape similar to an oval, with two openwork handles on the wider sides. In the mirror, a bird sitting on a branch, leaves at the bottom, and colorful tendrils of flowers in the background. The edge of the vessel with a gilded strip and delicate patterns around it, also gilded.
Signed on the underside with an eagle with the initials “C.T” a sign used in the years 1870-1900 and the golden numbers “0”, “71” and “196”
Porcelain factory Porzellanfabrik C. Tielsch & Co. was founded in Wałbrzych (then Waldenburg) in 1845 by Carl Tielsch and Gideon von Wallenberg.
