Description
A Victorian-style sideboard with straight frame lines, supported by six turned legs finished with brass rollers. On both sides of the box, there is a door closed with one leaf, decorated with carvings in the form of plant tendrils, and in the middle, in an oval reserve, the figure of a cupid with a sash made of bone. There is a shelf inside each of them. Between them there is a shelf and above them there are three drawers with drawing dies, on the faces of which there are two bone veins placed around the entire circumference. At the top there is a rectangular marble countertop.
Mahogany construction, bone and fruit wood inlays, brass, wood carving, marble top, England c. 1900.
