Description
The Colonial Coffee-Service, Royal Copenhagen.Made in 1976, limited to 300 pieces. The service consists of 6 cups with saucers, sugar bowl, creamer, pitcher and tray. All elements decorated with profiles of American presidents. Signed on the underside with blue waves (Copenhagen Manufactory) and the name of the president whose profile is visible on the element.
The cups, jug and sugar bowl of cylindrical shape with gilded handle, decorated in the same way as the saucers with stems and leaves also gilded. The jug with moulded spout and turned wooden handle, the lid identical to that on the sugar bowl, with a delicate rose for lifting. The octagonal tray, decorated with gilded floral designs and two profiles of presidents in an oval reserve in the center.
The set in perfect state of preservation.
