Description
A display cabinet in the style of Louis XV, with a bent front and sides, glazed on three sides, closed with a pair of doors, supported on four cabriole legs decorated with bronze. Door leaves with a strip lock and a key, with a panel at the bottom placed in reserve, decorated with a brass strip, the same as bent glass above, which was also decorated with a strip. Identical forms of decorations on the sides of the cabinet. The front corners are rounded, decorated with openwork applications made of gilded bronze on the top and at the legs. At the top, a marble, original top with a subtle gallery around. Inside, there are two glass shelves and one mirrored one, with a large mirror on the back.
Mahogany construction, veneered with rosewood, gilded bronze fittings, brass strips, marble top, c. 1900.
