Description
The table with an oval top, inlaid with musical instruments, supported on one massive leg. Under the top there is a slightly retracted blackened strip with a delicate chamfer from below. The top with ebony veneer decorated with two inlaid mouldings on the perimeter with intertwined flowers and leaves on branches. In the centre of the top inlaid with various types of wood inlaid with a floral bouquet are several musical instruments, music paper and a torch. The base is of massive construction, extending at the bottom to four legs ended with brass rollers to facilitate movement, richly carved in the form of acanthus leaves and flower buds. Tables of this type were usually decorated in music rooms.
Pine and oak construction, veneered with ebony, marquetry from different kinds of wood, the second half of the 19th century.
