Description
A Biedermeier-style armchair with a strongly curved wooden backrest, upholstered seat, and four legs: the front legs are profiled and carved, and the rear legs are angular and saber-shaped. The seat is upholstered with fabric on spring straps. The backrest gently tilts back with a section folded outward, and the armrests are rounded and have arched bolsters. Mahogany construction, carved, mid-19th century.
The armchair has undergone a comprehensive carpentry and upholstery restoration.
