Description
Baroque Chest of Drawers with a wavy front and straight sides, with a rectangular top, bent at the front and sides, with a quarter-round profile. Four-drawer, with beveled and profiled corners, supported on four legs, front bent and rear console legs. The upper two drawers have a straight face, the next one is slightly concave and the lowest one is convex. All of them are richly inlaid with various types of wood with floral patterns, with drawings on the sides and a key in the middle. There are also inlays on the tabletop in the form of intertwined acanthus leaves and two birds on the sides, with a vase decorated with a flower arrangement in the middle, all enclosed in an oval reserve made of three veins. The sides have inlays in similar motifs as the other parts of the chest of drawers. Each drawer has a steel lock, key included.
Walnut and oak constrution, marquetry made of various types of wood, brass fittings, late 18th century.
