Description

The Empire Chest of Drawers with straight frame lines, four drawers, supported on four legs, front ones in the form of hemispheres, rear ones angular. On both sides of the chest of drawers there are turned columns, slightly narrowed at the top, decorated with a ring at the bottom and a gilded bronze capital, engraved with subtle patterns, at the top. The faces of three drawers with a pair of drawers and a key in the middle, a steel lock inside each of them. The upper drawer is the lowest, protruding forward, flush with the front of the furniture, opened by recesses at the bottom. At the top there is an original marble countertop. Two keys included, all locks work.
Oak construction, veneered with mahogany, gilded bronze fittings, marble top, first half of the 19th century.
