Description
A Rococo style chest of drawers, with three drawers, curved front and sides, with a wooden top, supported by four angular legs, the front ones decorated with gilded bronze applications. The drawer faces are concave at the ends and convex in the middle, decorated with carefully selected veneer, with two drawers in the form of plant tendrils on the sides and an openwork, engraved key in the middle, inside each of them there is a steel, applied lock. The sides of the chest of drawers are rounded, with a similar structure to the front, with a delicate apron at the bottom and slanted veneer around the perimeter. Front corners arranged diagonally, with openwork applications made of gilded bronze. The top slightly protrudes beyond the outline of the furniture, rounded at the edge, with a large, darker rhombus in the middle, arranged in a delicate reserve made of wooden string. Below it there is a pull-out auxiliary table with two small pull-out buttons.
Pine construction, veneered with walnut, gilded bronze applications, mid-18th century.
