Description
A Rococo-style secretary with a curved frame, supported on four console legs, which are an extension of the furniture frame. There are three large drawers at the bottom of the box, with brass fittings on the sides and keys in the middle and steel insert locks inside. The drawer faces are surrounded by a slanted veneer, inside there are inlays with geometric patterns, and similar decorations on the convex sides of the secretary. Above these drawers, there are two smaller ones on the sides with small drawers. Under the retractable flap mounted on steel hinges with two stops on the sides, there are six drawers in two rows and one in the center, slightly larger. Above them there are compartments and below them there is a storage compartment under a sliding flap. The stable flap has green cloth and a steel, forged, applied lock. Transport label on the studded back.
Coniferous wood construction, veneered with rosewood and walnut, later brass fittings, mid-18th century.
The piece of furniture is in very good condition, probably after previous renovation.
