Description
Louis XV style sideboard, with a curved frame line, closed by a pair of doors, supported on four legs, front bent, angular with gilded bronze applications, rear angular. The door faces are rounded, decorated with inlays in the form of flowers made of various types of wood, placed in a delicate reserve, against the background of obliquely arranged veneer. The sides of the furniture are also convex with veneer arranged diagonally, also with some wavy shapes. The front corners are slightly flared with openwork gilded bronze applications at the top, bronze applications also on the apron at the bottom and on the door in the form of keys. At the top there is an original marble top, the shape of which corresponds to the design of the helper, slightly protruding beyond the outline of the furniture. There is a strip lock in the right door leaf.
Oak construction, veneered with rosewood, inlays made of various types of wood, gilded bronze fittings, marble top, circa 1900.
