Description
Napoleona III style Sideboard, with straight sides and front, closed with one door leaf, supported on four turned front legs with round brass fittings. Front corners with two turned and grooved columns. Original marble top. The door is decorated with inlays made of brass sheet and mother of pearl in the form of a twig with leaves and flowers, as well as a bird and butterflies. Similar decorations at the top of the piece of furniture. The sides and the front are decorated with brass slats creating closed, rectangular fields, and the front is also profiled, wide slats. The door has a steel lock with a key, two shelves inside.
Pine construction, oak, birch and rosewood veneers, brass sheet and mother-of-pearl inlay, woodcarving, marble top, late 19th century.
