Description
A Victorian-style sideboard with a simple design, with a pair of doors on the sides and two drawers in the middle, supported by six angular legs, four at the front and two at the back, tapered downwards. The shape of the top corresponds to the structure of the furniture, with a delicate bevel around the perimeter. There are delicate inlays made of double-laid wooden strings on the faces of the drawers and doors. Doors and drawers with brass fittings and drawers and steel mortise locks with keys, two shelves inside.
Pine and mahogany construction, veneered with mahogany, veins, brass fittings, England mid-19th century.
