Description
A baroque type Table with a round inlaid top, supported by a three-legged shaft. The tabletop is inlaid on its two halves with various types of wood in the form of vases from which there are flower bouquets, acanthus leaves and floral patterns with birds at the ends below. There is also a bird in the center of the tabletop, surrounded by delicate stems and flowers. All this is framed around the perimeter by two intersecting inlaid veins, plus a semicircle with dark and light veneer. Below, there is a massive hexagonal shaft, inlaid with floral arrangements in delicate reserves and beads at the junction with the base. At the bottom of the table there are three solid legs, also decorated with patterns of flower tendrils, ending with volutes.
Oak and mahogany construction, veneered with mahogany, inlays made of various types of wood, mid-19th century.
