Description
A women’s writing desk with a curved frame, closed with a retractable flap, and supported by four slender, cabriole legs that taper towards the bottom. Inside, three drawers with convex faces and small brass drawers, a stationery compartment with a sliding bottom beneath, and a shelf above. The writing surface is upholstered in leather. The entire surface is veneered with a diagonal diamond pattern of various wood species, separated by lighter and darker veins. Brass floral appliqués are featured on the legs, sides, and front. The entire unit is lockable with a key and a recessed lock.
