Description
An Eclectic Secretary with a simple design, with three drawers at the bottom and one at the top, supported on four legs, the front ones in the form of flattened balls, the rear ones angular. In the central part, there are six smaller drawers, two open spaces and a compartment closed with a small door with a key. Each drawer around the perimeter is decorated with a blackened strip, as are the beveled front corners, which are also decorated with wooden buttons. Each drawer has a steel lock and key included. On the faces of large drawers there are keys in the middle and a pair of drawers on the sides. In the original it was closed with a folded flap. At the top there is a roof mounted on a strongly curved, veneered base.
Pine and oak construction, veneered with walnut, wood carving, brass fittings, late 19th century.
