Description
A console table in the Viennese Baroque style, with a curved skeleton line, supported by four escutcheon legs with gentle feet. The top with a stepped slat on the edge, surrounded by a wide frame all around, with an oblique veneer. The drawer has a bent face, with wood carving in the form of shells and plant threads, with a steel recessed lock. Gods convex, with carvings in the shape of delicate rhombuses. Legs gently protruding beyond the outline of the piece of furniture, decorated with plant motifs, tied up at the bottom with a profiled cross, topped with subtle leaves with small flowers.
Pine and nut construction, walnut veneer, carvings and gildings, c.1900.
